i fell in love with my shadow and i befriended flies
i could taste the untasteable
and i watched the senseless walk front stage for the “let’s make sense” talk.
to them sometimes i wore a crown or perhaps had three heads
but to me they bit into apples that werent there and screamed with straight faces so i was okay with my three heads
three heads, two feet, 1 eye, and 5 things to say
that was the order and you were to remember it
the same way you washed your hands before you ate
and swept before you mopped
the light switch powered off and i remembered where i was
and everytime i remembered they placed this sharp feeling on the right side of my hip
as if that was the same side of my grandma’s hip that gave out and thats why she twitched with her walk
and now i want a peanut butter jelly sandwich
